The poem read at the scattering of Dad's ashes - 7th April 2012. You've just walked on ahead of us, and we've got to understand. You must release the ones you love and then let go of their hand. So today we take you back once more, to the place your heart loved dearly. and here we'll say our final farewell to a man who was loved sincerely. It's never easy to say goodbye to someone we hold dear, but everytime we visit the Port we'll feel your presence here. We're going to let you go now so your journey can continue, but you won't be going alone as part of us go with you. For those we love can never be more than a thought apart. We have many cherished memories so you'll live on, always, in our hearts.
